This magnificent home is named after its distinctive, terra cotta cupola or dome that houses the bedroom of the Owner's Suite. Designed in modern Mexican style, this delightful home is being completely redecorated in modern tropical style and will be available for the first time in November 2002 as a luxury guesthouse for gay men and their friends.

Enjoy the tropical splendor of Puerto Vallarta, with views of the ocean and perhaps a parasail gliding by. Fresh mangos, papayas and coconuts grow in the lush vegetation above the little river nearby. Casa Cupula is more than just your typical “Bed and Breakfast”. Awaken to a continental breakfast spread of fresh fruits, juices, breads and cereal. For an additional charge, request a freshly prepared breakfast to order! We can serve it poolside, on the terrace or have breakfast in bed.

Beach or Pool?

Spend your day at the beach or stay at Casa Cupola’s private pool terrace with cocktail service and lunch ordered in. After taking in some sun, relax and watch a movie on your flat screen TV, either from our house DVD collection or cable TV. Order an in-room massage. After a siesta, dine at one of Vallarta’s internationally renowned restaurants, and if you want stay out late to enjoy some of the best, most varied and friendly gay nightlife in Latin America.

Of course romance is on the agenda too. Casa Cupula strives to create the kind of romantic environment you’ll appreciate. It’s quiet luxury – no kids, no loud partying college students on spring break. And no package-deal cruise ship patrons to look at you funny because you’re with your boyfriend. Casa Contigo	$300	$250	$200	Casa Contigo is a new, modern 2 bedroom, 2 bath condominium located across the little river in the hills by Casa Cupula. All guests here are welcome to use the facilities at Casa Cupula, a 5 minute walk. Breakfast in the condominium can also be arranged for a fee. You can also use the little swimming pool and sundeck in the building. Casa Contigo includes a kitchen, Cable TV, stereo, washer/dryer, 2 terraces and an incredible view of the Bay. Caution: There are 80 stairs to Casa Contigo – it is rewarded with a rich view, but if you have problems with stairs please do not book this facility. We will, however, carry your luggage up for you!
Casa Cupola Suite	$330	$275	$200	Tropical luxury with ultimate privacy. The owner’s suite offers a large living room downstairs with kitchenette, marble-trimmed bathroom with shower, private entrance from the street and a private balcony. Enjoy a movie on the Home Theater system with surround sound, have guests over for cocktails, or simply enjoy the tropical breezes and incredible view The house's signature cupola (spelled "cupula" in Spanish, hence the house name) holds a king-sized bed in romantic splendor. Giant french doors open up to a huge private terrace with a view of the ocean, either from the terrace or your very own soaking tub. A half bath is on this floor

High, Low and Holiday Seasons

Low Season is October 1 to November 21, 2003, and after April 12, 2004.

High Season begins November 22, 2003 through April 11, 2004.

Holiday periods for 2003-4 are as follows: Thanksgiving: November 22-30, 2003, Christmas/New Years: December 20-January 4, 2004.

Minimum Stay is 3 Days during all periods.

Damage Deposit
On check-in, you will be asked to leave a credit card authorization or cash deposit of $200. This is fully refundable at check-out (or may be applied to your bill) as long as there are no room damages.

Cancellation Policy:
A $50 service charge will apply to all cancellations. Your deposit is refundable, less the service charge, up to 4 months before the beginning of your stay. Between 4 months and up to 45 days before, 50% refund of the deposit is refundable on cancellation, less the service charge. NO REFUNDS ARE MADE FOR CANCELLATIONS WITHIN 45 DAYS OF YOUR RESERVATION

Settling Your Account
Your balance can be paid at checkout with a credit card on file. Food, drink, and incidentals may be paid on your credit card including tips. Without a valid credit card, all charges must be paid in cash each day or in advance. All taxes are additional.

Staffing
Casa Cupola is staffed every weekday from 10am to 6pm for your convenience. A manager is available on call outside of these hours for any urgent needs.

Go via the Malecon (the road along the beach) and Vallarta Street to a left on Basilio Badillo. Go right 3 blocks later on Mexico 200 (Highway to Mismaloya). Opposite the sign for Hotel Descanso del Sol (on the left) is a small alleyway, Callejon de la Igualdad. Follow the dirt road down along the little river over the bridge and loop around back to number 129.
